LC will start a new world tour this summer. LC will come to europe again. I’m only sure of 1 concert yet; concert in Belgium (Ghent - St petersquare) on the 12 th and 14th of august 2012. Tickets on sale on the 30th of march (sherpa.be)

Our Leonard also has a new CD from “Old ideas” and the 77-year-old Canadian bard is still active. Who knows if that man is back to St. Peter’s Square for a wonderful end of summer, and if so, it has been agreed to rename the square finally to the St. Leonard’s Square.

The leading Finnish newspaper Helsingin Sanomat announced today that Leonard Cohen will be giving a concert in Helsinki on September 2.

I don’t think it is a joke, they are just repeating the same rumor that has recently been going around in Europe.

Having played two landmark concerts there in 2008, Hot Press has learned that an application has been made for a licence to stage a Leonard Cohen gig again in the Royal Hospital Kilmainham. If green-lighted, which seems a formality, the Canadian legend will play Dublin in either August or September.
